Confirmation Preparation Session 2

Welcome to Holy Family Church's second Confirmation preparation session! We will be using the series "Decision Point" by Dynamic Catholic. Please make sure you have watched the introduction and four videos we have given you to watch on our website. This week we are talking about the Eucharist and the Real Presence of Christ.
After watching the videos, please answer the questions below. The questions are not being graded but help us to know if you have been engaging with the content and preparation. Answer them truthfully and thoughtfully. You might be surprised about the conversations you might have with people or where the Holy Spirit leads you in your thoughts. Be open to God, and answer the best you can.
Also do not forget that on top of these questions to please write your Letter of Intent to Fr. Andrew. Instructions can be found at the bottom of this page.
Introduction & Prayer by Eric, our Youth Minister

Letter of Intent

The Sacrament of Confirmation completes your Sacraments of Initiation into the Catholic Church and provides a deepening and increase of the grace you received at Baptism.  You are preparing to receive the very same Holy Spirit that came upon the Apostles at Pentecost and set them “on fire” with their faith!  The Holy Spirit empowered the Apostles to proclaim the Gospel message and even risk their lives in order to build up the Church.

The Holy Spirit is your Advocate and Guide that will lead you on your great life journey to become who God created you to be!   As you are taking that step into discipleship and the growth of your faith, you are asked to write a letter to Father Andrew, stating your intent to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation.

This letter is an expression of your active participation, maturity, knowledge of, and desire to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation.  This letter should include the following components:

  1. Greeting to Father Andrew
  2. Introduce yourself (provide your name and your school name and any other relevant information)
  3. State the purpose of the letter –why you desire to be confirmed.
  4. Describe how you plan to live your faith in the future.
  5. Conclude your letter with your complete signature.

Letters are due in one month (Saturday, April 10th) and should be emailed directly to Fr. Andrew at
